被咕咕了的作业……

Hello, sir or madam, today I’d like to begin with a story.

It’s a sunny day. A group of busy butterflies were bathing in the warm sun shine. During the break, they discovered a silkworm chrysalis who hid up in his cocoon and didn’t want to go outside. They flew towards him. A butterfly said, “Hey! Can you hear the sound of my fluffing wings.” Hum…Hum… “Today, I dance with some many flowers to the songs composed by birds. Get outside! I can play with you.” “No”, he shouts. He murmurs to himself, “I don’t care about what all of you say, I’m fine staying within my own cocoon.” One day, their land is flooding. A butterfly thought, maybe he didn’t know what’s going on, I should tell him. She flew to the cocoon, “Hey, boy! The land is flooding. Come on! You should break up your cocoon and flew away.” “Can’t you see how bright my cocoon is? You must be kidding. I’m not going out. Leave me, you bad butterfly.”

Today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many new problems. One is called “Information cocoon”. Just like in that story, some people like that silkworm chrysalis, refuse to get out of their room and push down their cellphone to immerse themselves in the marvelous nature and to build band with people vis-a-vis. Being stuck in the information cocoon, they only care about what they care, being indifferent to the outer world. With the development of tech, many websites can target people’s interest and wrap people with the information they push. The cocoon becomes more and more tough and strong. Please, put down your phones for a while. Look at that picture — Birds singing, wind blowing, sun shining and people wandering while chatting. Isn’t it a lovely picture? Thank you.
